NFC2010 Workshop
The International Workshop on NFC 2010 is the second scientific workshop with focus on the area of Near Field Communication (NFC).
The workshop will bring together researchers and practitioners in the area of RF & hardware related topics, smartcards & security, applications& services and usability & user experience.
It aims to provide a forum for a full and detailed discussion of the research issues of Near Field Communication as an integrative concept that covers hardware, software, security, usability and different fields of applications.
NFC2010 is technically co-sponsored by IEEE Austria Section and the published proceedings will be available at IEEE Xplore. More

For the 2nd consecutive year, WIMA is hosting the Q2 Mobey Plenary Workshop on 20 April 2010. (closed session)
A collaborative WIMA / Mobey conference session on NFC & Mobile Payment will be presented in the Business Track of WIMA 2010 on 21 April from 16:30 - 18:15 including a first industry discussion on the recently released white paper Alternatives for Banks to Offer Secure Mobile Payments which examines the role of the secure element in advancing the mobile financial services ecosystem.
